It was Tuesday evening on January 28, 8.50pm, when we all met at the winter entrance. Some of us waited for Mrs. Höying because she wanted to give them some sledges. The other pupils had torches. Then we went out and tried to light the torches but it wasn`t easy because it was very windy.
Finally we went up the Grafenmatt.
There were some stupid boys in a house who shouted at us and wanted to know if we hadn`t got a home.
Sometimes the torches went out. Suddenly Sükrü slid down the slope. It wasn`t easy for him to climb up again because there was ice on the slope and he was holding a burning torch in his hand. Then we went on. Sometimes someone fell to the ground. Everyone felt good and it was very interesting and funny.
But then we had to go back because Mr Tenter didn`t find the way anymore. We went down to the valley. After that we all went up the end of the ski run and went tobogganing. Some of us built a ski jump. Toboggaing at night was a good feeling, it was very funny. We all were sad because the next day we had to go home.
